SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame softball team announced that Tuesday’s game with Central Michigan has been postponed. With rain in the forecast for much of the day on Tuesday, the Fighting Irish and Chippewas will move the contest at Melissa Cook Stadium to April 23rd at 5 p.m.
The Irish will return to the diamond later this week in a three-game Atlantic Coast Conference series against the North Carolina Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, beginning Thursday evening.
