NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame men’s swimming and diving team picked up two dual meet wins Saturday to improve to 3-0 on the season. Victories over Cleveland State (178-122) and Miami University (232.50-67.50) helped the program celebrate the 25th anniversary of varsity competition in the Rolfs Aquatic Center.
“The season is building and we were quite pleased with the improvements we saw today,” Irish head coach Tim Welsh said. “We’re looking forward to keeping the improvement going and we were very proud of the guys today. The next two meets on the road will be a challenge, but we’ll be ready for that when it comes.”
Notre Dame now travels to Purdue (Nov. 6) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 13) to wrap up the dual meet portion of the fall schedule.
