Viliamu-Asa, Rezac Selected to NFF 2024 Team of Distinction

Freshman linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa and freshman quarterback Anthony Rezac were recognized as members of the National Football Foundation 2024 Team of Distinction. They represent two of 84 high school student-athletes named to the team out of a pool of 3,500 senior scholar athletes.

Selection to the team is based upon academic achievement, athletic accolades and community involvement, and each chapter of the National Football Foundation is represented by one honoree.

Viliamu-Asa represents the NFF Los Angeles Chapter. A graduate of St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif., Viliamu-Asa noted a 4.28 high school GPA, making the Principal’s Honor Roll and earning a 4.0 GPA all four years. He was a 2023 high school Butkus Award finalist, recognizing the top linebacker in the country, and was named a five-star recruit and the 21st player overall by Rivals.com.

Rezac was selected from the NFF Nebraska Chapter and graduated from Omaha Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska. He earned a 3.89 GPA and was the Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year. A two-time team captain, Rezac was also a two-time academic all-state honoree and a member of the student council.
