CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As the regular season concludes, the Irish finished with three players selected to the 2025 All-ACC Team. Senior Grace Weigand and freshman Madison Rassas each received All-ACC Second Team honors and sophomore Meghan O’Hare was named to the All-ACC Third Team.
Defender Grace Weigand receives her second All-ACC postseason accolade, after being named to the All-ACC Freshman Team in 2022. This year, she was also named to 2025 Tewaaraton Watch list and received USA Lacrosse Magazine Women’s Preseason All-American Honorable Mention honors.
Weigand has recorded 31 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers, averaging 2.1 ground balls and 1.2 caused turnovers per game. The senior defender also scored her first career goal in the win over Louisville this season.
Midfielder Madison Rassas is off to a great start in her Irish career, earning All-ACC second team honors in her rookie season. The freshman led the Irish with 29 goals, recording 4 assists as well for a combined 33 points on the season. Rassas has also tallied 33 draw controls, 5 ground balls, and 5 caused turnovers.
Rassas also set a program record this season as she recorded 5 goals and 8 points in the home-opening win over CMU, scoring the most goals and points by a Notre Dame freshman in a home opener.
Midfielder Meghan O’Hare is earning All-ACC honors for the second year in a row after taking home All-ACC Freshman Team honors last season. O’Hare was second on the team with 22 caused turnovers, 24 ground balls, and 40 draw controls this season. She averaged 1.5 caused turnovers, 1.6 ground balls, and 2.7 draws per game.
