Senior defender Grace Weigand, who was recently named to the All-ACC Second Team, has now earned another post-season honor. USA Lacrosse named its NCAA Division I women’s All-Americans for the 2025 season, where Weigand received USA Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention honors.
This year, she was also named to 2025 Tewaaraton Watch list and received USA Lacrosse Magazine Women’s Preseason All-American Honorable Mention honors.
Weigand has recorded 31 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers, averaging 2.1 ground balls and 1.2 caused turnovers per game. The senior defender also scored her first career goal in the win over Louisville this season.
