BIG EAST Conference Women’s Basketball | NCAA Women’s Basketball Statistics
For the fifth time in program history, but the first since 2001, No. 10/7 Notre Dame takes the court in search of a BIG EAST tournament title when the Fighting Irish face No. 1 Connecticut in the championship game at 7 p.m. (ET) Tuesday from the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The game will be televised live to a national cable audience on ESPN and ESPNHD, as Notre Dame goes in search of its first conference postseason crown of any kind since it won the 1994 Midwestern Collegiate Conference (now Horizon League) tournament title.
