WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Fighting Irish women’s golf team shot a final round 310 at the 2018 Landfall Tradition to place 17th on Sunday.
Playing in challenging conditions all weekend at the Country Club of Landfall (Dye Course), seniors Emma Albrecht and Isabella DiLisio shot final round 77’s to lead the Notre Dame lineup. Albrecht tied for 48th as the top Irish finisher. Abby Heck and Mia Ayer each shot final round 78’s to also score for Notre Dame.
Duke (297-297-285=879) bested South Carolina by two strokes to win the event, while Duke’s Virginia Elena Carta (72-72-72=216) and Gina Kim (74-73-69=216) shared medalist honors.

The Irish will return from break at Louisville’s Moon Golf Invitational on Feb. 18-19 in Melbourne, Florida.
