NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Notre Dame women’s golf head coach Susan Holt has announced Lauren Beaudreau and Madelyn Jones have signed National Letters of Intent. The duo, accomplished on the course and in the classroom, will join the program for the 2019-20 season.
Beaudreau, who hails from Lemont, Illinois, currently attends Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois.
“We’re really excited to have Lauren officially join the Notre Dame golf family,” Holt said. “She verbally committed in March of 2017 so this has been a long time coming. Lauren’s been a very accomplished player at every level she has competed. I look for her to transition well into the college game and make an immediate impact on our program. Lauren has a great love and passion for Notre Dame and the game of golf and will be a tremendous addition to our team as we build for the future.”
Jones, who is an Austin, Texas, native, is in her senior year at Westlake High School.
“Madelyn is going to be a great addition to our program,” Holt said. “She’s a high energy young lady that will be a lot of fun to be around the next four years. Her work ethic is evident in the progress she has made with her game this past year. She will be a player to watch during her time here as I am confident her best golf has yet to be played. She is a great fit for Notre Dame and will thrive during her time here.”
