Head coach Christine Halfpenny’s thoughts:
“I’m so excited for this 2019 team. They’ve really done so many incredible things. Today was a big program win to earn that fifth ACC regular season victory. Getting that fifth conference win reflects on the path and trajectory that this program has been on. Today was also a total team effort. Everybody was ready when their number was called, and stepped up to make big plays. I’m really proud of the continued belief this entire group displays in each other day in and day out.”

Nikki Ortega’s thoughts:
“I thought we really moved the ball well and attacked from all points of the offense. We really wanted to get that fifth ACC win, and to do so on the road is really special.”

Savannah Buchanan’s thoughts:
“We knew coming in that the draw was going to be perhaps the most important part of this game. As a group, we worked really well together today to control draws and scoop up loose ground balls. To get five ACC wins, something that hasn’t been done before here, is really special and I’m proud to have done it alongside this group of people.”
