SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The red-hot No. 16 nationally ranked Notre Dame men’s tennis team continued its great start to the spring 2026 season with a 4-0 sweep over Georgia Tech. How great a start to the season is this, you may ask? By improving to 13-2, Notre Dame Head Coach Ryan Sachire has achieved his best start at the helm of the program (was named head coach in the summer of 2013). The Irish also improved to 3-0 in ACC play.

Match Notes:

  • Coach Sachire recently teamed up Sebastian Dominko and Peter Nad in doubles on court one and his decision has been awarded handsomely. They won again tonight, defeating Clement/Schoenmakers, 6-3. Dominko and Nad are now 3-1 as a doubles pair and ranked 52nd in the nation.
  • The doubles point came down to court two, where Perry Gregg and Luis Llorens Saracho gutted out a 7-5 victory over Irwanto/Biagiotti. Gregg/Llorens Saracho move to 2-1 as a pair.
  • Dominko, Gregg and Nad completed the sweep in singles. Though if the match continued, it could have very well been 7-0 Irish.
  • Dominko, now ranked 15th in singles, won first on court one, defeating Christophe Clement, 7-6(2), 6-3. He is now 8-1 in dual singles matches this spring.
  • With Gregg’s straight set victory on court two, the graduate student has now won nine straight.
  • Nad’s straight-set win improved the sophomore’s dual record to 8-2
