Notre Dame fans are invited to join the Fighting Irish men’s and women’s basketball teams for “Ball Out at the Bookstore” on Friday, October 14, at 8:30 p.m. ET. The event is free and open to the public and will be hosted by former Irish basketball standouts Ruth Riley and Jordan Cornette.

Festivities will start at 8:30 p.m. at the Notre Dame Bookstore basketball courts featuring a live DJ. Free food will be provided, while supplies last, courtesy of Krispy Kreme, Gigi’s Cupcakes, Papa John’s and the South Bend Chocolate Café.

At approximately 8:40 p.m., the River City Rollers wheelchair basketball team will scrimmage. All members of the 2016-17 the Fighting Irish basketball teams will be introduced around 9 p.m. Members of the coaching staff also will offer an outlook on the upcoming basketball seasons.

Fans can enter to win great prizes and participate in a variety of skills competitions on the bookstore court with both basketball teams. One lucky Notre Dame student will have an opportunity to win a car.

To conclude the evening, the men’s and women’s basketball teams will sign autographs for fans.
