Varsity Sports Indiana Code 21-18-13.5 Grievance Form
Resolution of grievances related to IC § 21-18-13.5: Under Indiana law, a male, based on a student’s biological sex at birth in accordance with the student’s genetics and reproductive biology, may not participate on an athletic team or sport designated as being a women’s varsity sport when that team or sport voluntarily competes against an Indiana state educational institution. The University, therefore, must abide by this statute regarding its affected women’s sport teams. A student or parent of a student who feels they have personally been deprived of an athletic opportunity or otherwise directly or indirectly injured may submit alleged violations of this law to the Senior Associate Athletics Director using this link. The Senior Associate Athletics Director, or their designee, will review the submission, investigate and (as appropriate) resolve the grievance.
