Notre Dame’s April 8 baseball game vs. Bowling Green has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 10, due to weather conditions. The Irish still are slated to face Western Michigan on Wed., April 9 (5:05, at Eck Stadium) while Notre Dame now will play a split doubleheader on Thursday the 10th vs. Chicago State (4:05) and Bowling Green (approximately 6:30). Both ends of that doubleheader will be seven-inning games.

Notre Dame also has added a pair of makeup games to replace last week’s doubleheader cancellation at Boston College. The Irish will play host to Central Michigan on Monday, April 14 (5:05) while IPFW will visit Eck Stadium on Thursday, April 24 (both games will start at 5:05).

Sophomore righthanders John Axford and Martin Vergara now are slated to start the WMU and Chicago State games while freshman lefthander Tom Thornton now is the likely starter vs. Bowling Green.
