NOTRE DAME, In. – For the second consecutive season, Notre Dame head coach Sean Carlson has been named ACC Men’s Head Coach of the Year.  Carlson led the Irish to the Great Lakes Region title, a ninth place NCAA Championship finish, and their third ACC Championship title in four years.

The NCAA Championships ninth place finish for the men’s Fighting Irish cross country team marks the third straight top-ten finish for the Irish. This year two Irish took home All-American honors as Dylan Jacobs and Danny Kilrea finished 10th and 31st, respectively.

During the ACC Championships, Notre Dame took the conference title with three runners finishing in the top five. Jacobs took second place, Kilrea took fourth, and Yared Nuguse finished fifth.
