NOTRE DAME, Ind. — CBS Sports will televise three Notre Dame road football games during the 2000 college season:
- Oct. 14 (noon EDT kickoff) against Navy at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
- Oct. 21 (noon EDT) at West Virginia.
- Nov. 18 (3:30 p.m. EST) at Rutgers.
The Notre Dame-Navy game will be a national telecast. The Notre Dame-West Virginia game will be a split national telecast — with Virginia Tech-Syracuse the other offering that day. The Notre Dame-Rutgers game also will be a split national offering — with Alabama-Auburn the other game.
Notre Dame’s appearance at the Citrus Bowl marks its second in that facility — following a ’94 appearance there against Florida State. The Irish games at West Virginia and Rutgers mark their first-ever trips to those campuses.
