Where you see the Notre Dame Cheerleaders most often are on the sidelines, baselines, and the many other playing surfaces of the Notre Dame Athletic Teams but if you ask them what their favorite thing about being a Notre Dame Cheerleader is, they’ll often say helping others and finding ways to put a smile on the faces of those around them. Athletic Director, Jack Swarbrick established five pillars of the athletic department to help guide the department in all that its endeavors. Those pillars are; excellence, tradition, community, education, and faith, the pillar the team identifies with most is community. The team is often found in schools reading to students, at habitat builds, serving food to those in need etc. Please help join the Notre Dame Cheerleaders in their “Month of Thanks” where their current initiative is collecting donations for Hannah’s House, a local charity. The donation drive is open from November 1-30, there are bins for collection in the Joyce Center or items can be handed directly to the cheerleaders before or after games throughout the month. Go Irish!
