SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team will host the last event of their fall schedule of competition this weekend at home. The Fighting Irish Mini Duals is a paired tournament where teammates will play with a partner in a doubles match followed by two singles matches against their respective opponents. The team that wins two of the three matches advances. Each team will plan to play four singles and four doubles matches in total throughout the three-day event.
Notre Dame will have five pairs of players playing this weekend while other teams will represent from Princeton, Illinois, Louisville, DePaul and Drake. The Irish will be paired together in these combinations: Jean-Marc Malkowski and Evan Lee, Nil Giraldez and Jamie Corsillo, Chase Thompson and Yu Zhang, Brian Bilsey and Noah Becker, and Kyran Magimay and Jayanth Devaiah.
Play will begin at 9 a.m. each day and play will start indoors each day at the Eck Tennis Pavilion where admission is free all weekend. The following is the daily schedule for each day of play.
