LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Notre Dame track and field teams participated in the Border Battle this weekend, teaming up with Louisville to compete against Indiana and Purdue. The Big 10 pairing bested the future-ACC team, but many Notre Dame athletes posted strong times this weekend, with four of them placing first in their respective events.
In the men’s competition, Purdue and Indiana won 125-72. In the women’s events, the duo was also victorious, 114-85.
Junior Jade Barber finished first in the finals of women’s 100m dash with a time of 11.51. Her sister, junior Kaila Barber finished first in the finals of the 100m hurdles at 13.47.
