Grewe Officially Named to 2024 U.S. Paralympic Team

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee announced its official roster for the 2024 U.S. Paralympic Team earlier this week, and Notre Dame graduate Sam Grewe is one of 225 athletes who will represent Team USA this summer in Paris.
Grewe is making his third appearance in the Paralympic Games for Team USA in 2024 and will once again compete in the high jump. He made his debut with Team USA in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro games, where he earned a silver medal in the high jump T42. Grewe then captured the gold medal in the high jump T63 at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. Additionally, Grewe is a three-time world champion in the high jump T42.
The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games kick off Wednesday, August 28 and run through Sunday, September 8. The city of Paris will welcome more than 4,400 Paralympians from around the world to compete in 22 different sports. In total, there will be 549 medal events with Paralympic competition spanning 17 different venues.
The men’s high jump T63 final is slated for Tuesday, September 3 starting at 2:20 p.m.
