NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Due to the threat of inclement and potentially severe weather in the South Bend area, the series finale between the University of Notre Dame softball team and Arkansas that was scheduled for noon (ET) on Sunday at Melissa Cook Stadium has been canceled. The game will not be re-scheduled.
Both teams split the seventh annual Strikeout Cancer series on Saturday, with Notre Dame winning the nightcap by a score of 6-5.
Notre Dame returns home for its final nonconference game of the 2017 regular season, a 6 p.m. (ET) showdown with Butler on Wednesday. The contest will air live on ACC Network Extra.
