Irish Battle at NCAA Championships in Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The No. 5 Notre Dame women’s cross country team placed seventh while the No. 13 Irish men were 13th at the 2025 NCAA Championships at Gans Creek Cross Country Course.

WOMEN’S RACE

The No. 5 ranked Notre Dame women were in the top 10 as a team throughout the race and took seventh place with a team score of 278.

Mary Bonner Dalton finished tenth overall with a personal-record time of 18:58.0 to earn All-America honors while pacing the Irish. Amaya Aramini posted a PR of 19:12.8 to finish 25th and join Bonner as an All-America honoree.

Siona Chisholm finished 52nd overall for 45 points with a personal-record time of 19:32.8. Sophie Novak crossed the finish line in a PR time 20:01.1 to place 114th and earn 94 points toward the team score. Gretchen Farley capped off the team scoring with a 20:08.9 to place 135th to put 108 points to the team score.

Chloe Huyler placed 158th in a time of 20:17.8 while Arianne Olson ran a 20:32.0 for 195th for the Irish.

MEN’S RACE

The No. 13 ranked Irish men placed 13th with a team score of 459.

Ethan Coleman led the way for Notre Dame with a personal-record time of 28:58.8 to finish 28th to earn 24 points and All-America honors. Izaiah Steury ran a 29:30.7 and placed 84th for 70 points.

Kevin Sanchez placed 112th and earned 93 points with a 29:43.3. Cameron Todd ran a 29:57.0 for 150th overall and 122 points. CJ Singleton wrapped up the team scoring with a 30:20.1 for 183rd and 150 points.

Daelen Ackley ran a 30:34.5 and placed 210th.
