EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Notre Dame men’s tennis doubles pair of Greg Andrews and Spencer Talmadge fell in the finals of the doubles draw at the 2012 USTA/ITA Midwest Regional Championships on Monday afternoon on the campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich.
The duo, which went 5-1 on the week, fell to Illinois’ Farris Gosea and Tim Kopinski, 8-5. With an impressive showing this weekend, Andrews and Talmadge upped their fall record to 10-5 as they look to position themselves for a spot in the national rankings when the spring gets underway.
Notre Dame wraps up its fall season in two weeks when it heads to Williamsburg, Va., for the Iribe Invitational hosted by the College of William and Mary.
