The University of Notre Dame men’s golf team 2021-22 season ended Wednesday afternoon with a ninth-place finish in the Palm Beach Gardens NCAA Regional held at the PGA National Champion Course. The Irish finished with an 896 (+32) over the three rounds of the event.
Graduate student Davis Chatfield led the Irish individually, finishing in a tie for 16th place with a 218 (+2) (72-69-77). Senior Taichi Kho ended up tied for 19th with a 219 (+3) (68-74-77), followed by junior Palmer Jackson 229 (+13), sophomore Angelo Marcon 230 (+14) and senior Andrew O’Leary 246 (+30).

The ninth-place finish caps a memorable 2021-22 season for the Irish, who claimed team titles at the 2021 Stephens Cup, a program-best fifth-place finish at the ACC Championship and nine consecutive top-four team finishes before entering post season competition.
