NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame softball team will offer a pair of hitting sessions in the month of November. Each session will take place at the Eck Indoor Facility on Notre Dame’s campus.

The hitting academy is directed towards the student-athlete who wants to improve their offensive skills during the offseason. Players will receive four two-hour hitting sessions on consecutive weeks from the Notre Dame coaching staff and players.

Sessions will run from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. (ET), limited to 20 players per session.

A one-day hitting clinic will be held Nov. 7, and is open to the first 40 participants who sign up.

*Update* – The second session of the Nov. 7 clinic has been canceled. If interested, please feel free to participate to the 9-11:00 a.m. (ET) or 2-4:00 p.m. slots.

The Irish, who hit a school-record 75 home runs last season, know a thing or two about hitting as the 2010 team led the nation in batting average (.343) and posted a .590 team slugging pct., which ranks eighth all-time in NCAA history.
