SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Kyle McAlarney scored a career-high 25 points, making seven 3-pointers, to lead Notre Dame to a 94-63 victory over Colgate on Monday, the 23rd straight home victory for the Fighting Irish.
The Irish (4-2) can tie the school record for consecutive wins at the Joyce Center, which opened in 1968, with a victory Saturday over Eastern Michigan. It was the third straight loss for Colgate (4-3), playing its first of six straight road games.
Rob Kurz added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Irish, who outrebounded the Raiders 42-28. Luke Zeller matched his career high with 14 points and Luke Harangody, who had scored more than 20 points the previous three games, was held to 11 points.
Kyle Roemer, who entered the game averaging 20.2 points a game for the Raiders, had 13 points and Daniel Waddy added 10.
McAlarney, who had 23 points against Youngstown State on Saturday, posted a career high in points for a second straight game.
