IRISH THOUGHTS: Notre Dame head coach Susan Holt discusses her team’s performance at the Cougar Classic and the upcoming Mary Fossum Invitational …

“I wasn’t disappointed with how we played at the Cougar Classic. We did pretty well overall but some of the scores were just really low. Lisa [Maunu] won that tournament last year with a minus-six and this year the winner shot a minus-ten. We just have to clean up our short game, that’s where we dropped some shots.”

“I feel good heading into this weekend; the team realized from the first tournament that we need to be able and ready to show up from the first tee because if we don’t, somebody else will.”

NEXT UP: Notre Dame will travel to Boulder, Colo. to take part in the University of Colorado’s Heather Farr Memorial. The tournament will take place on September 29 and 30 at the Omni Interlocken Golf Club.
