NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame continues its 11-game homestand with a three-game set versus Boston College. The Irish (18-23, 8-13) and the Eagles (14-26, 5-16) will open the series at 6:05 p.m. ET.

“They’re going to be a really competitive group. They’re tough-minded; they’re never out of the fight,” Irish head coach Mik Aoki said. “We have to play well. Good baseball always starts on the mound. We need a good start from [Friday starter] Scott Tully and from [Saturday starter] Zack Martin.

“We need to take advantage of our opportunities offensively because they have three experienced guys going to the mound. These are guys that have had success in the conference. It should be a good series.”
