26-27 The University of Notre Dame Cheerleading Tryout Packet
Open Practice and Recruiting Information
Fall Open Practices:
Dates: Tuesday, Sept. 23, Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Monday, Dec. 1st (subject to change!)
Time: 5:00 p.m.
Location: Gym 1 of the JACC (above gate 8). Gates 1 and 2 are the best points of entry!
Fall Open Practices are open to current high school seniors who plan to apply, or students who are currently enrolled at Notre Dame, Holy Cross College, or St. Mary’s College and intend to pursue a spot on the cheerleading team. Open Practices are a great opportunity to experience the culture of our team and prepare for the 2025 tryout process.
Waiver forms are required and will be provided upon arrival. If you are a minor and planning to attend email ndcheer@nd.edu to receive a waiver in advance to be signed by your legal guardian.
Spring Open Practices:
Dates: Jan. 28th, Feb. 11th, March 16th and 31st April 7rd, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd

Zoom Information Meetings:
A member of the cheerleading staff will be holding three Zoom information meetings.
In-Person Dates: No in-person information meetings will be made available, but we encourage all on-campus students to attend open practices or schedule a meeting with Coach Delayna, Coach Liz, or a current member of the cheerleading team by emailing ndcheer@nd.edu.
Zoom Dates: All Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. ET

Recruit Meeting Slots – Football Season
Every Football Friday Meeting Slots with Coach Delayna are available! Sign up here.
Meeting slots are available for high school cheerleaders interested in cheering at Notre Dame. Meetings are 20 minutes long; therefore, it’s important to come prepared with detailed questions. Location, unless otherwise specified, is the Joyce Center Gate 3 Conference Room. The meeting point is Gate 3 of the Joyce Center (the far right doors). Gate 3 is directly across from Gate A of Notre Dame Stadium. Thank you and Go Irish!
