The University of Notre Dame men’s golf team, led by a second-place finish from senior Taichi Kho, finished fourth at the highly competitive Augusta Haskins Award Invitational which was held at the Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, on April 2-3. The field featured No. 2 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Texas, No. 13 Notre Dame, No. 24 Illinois and No. 28 South Carolina according to the latest Golfstat.com rankings.
Kho was on fire over the entire three rounds in the event, carding 69-69-67 for a 205 to finish in a tie for second place with South Carolina’s Evans Lewis. Kho’s classmate, Andrew O’Leary, continued his strong spring season with a t-14 effort at 72-72-69 (213) jumping 11 spots up the leaderboard in the final round.
