ONLINE AUCTION

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse team is holding its annual Lax for the Cure game this Wednesday, April 24, against the No. 4/4 Northwestern Wildcats.

The event, which is in its third year, sees all of its profits go directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Northern Indiana foundation. Last year the Irish raised $5,678.

Pink pom poms will be given out at the game and fans that wear pink will be eligible to get a free ticket with a purchased ticket. The promotion begins at 6 p.m. at the Arlotta Stadium Ticket Office.

An online auction on that will run from April 22-May 3 will feature the warm-up jerseys that the team will wear before the game against Northwestern.

Fans wishing to make a donation to the Lax for the Cure cause can call 574-631-7356.

The game will feature the No. 7/10 women’s lacrosse team battle the defending national champion Wildcats at 7 p.m. The Notre Dame pep band will be in attendance to help support the Irish.
