TUCSON, Ariz. – The Notre Dame men’s golf team saw a pair of its players scores in the 60s in Tuesday’s final round of the National Invitational Tournament as both Ben Albin and Blake Barens carded 69s.
As a team, the Irish shot an even-par 288 on the day to finish in 10th place out of the 16-team field with a 54-hole total of 867 (+3). Iowa State claimed the event’s championship with an 832 (-32), five strokes ahead of a second place tie between Arizona State and UNLV.

About the Course
The Omni Tucson National’s Catalina Course is the former host of the PGA TOUR’s Chrysler Classic. It is a par-72 which played at 7,262 yards for the N.I.T.

The Irish will take a couple of weeks off before returning to action March 17-19 in the Georgia Southern Schenkel Invitational at the Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Georgia .
