Modleski Recognized On Haskins Award Final Fall Watch List

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The fall slate has concluded for the Notre Dame men’s golf team and junior Jacob Modleski continues to rank as one of the top collegiate golfers this season, having been named to the final fall Watch List for the Haskins Award, presented annually to the top male U.S. collegiate golfer.

Through five fall tournaments, Modleski ranks 37th nationally  and boasts a stroke average of 68.1 through 15 rounds played. Most notably was his performance at the Folds of Honor Collegiate. Fresh off play in the 2025 Walker Cup out in California, Modleski took a red-eye flight to compete with his teammates at the annual tournament held in Michigan where he took fifth overall and helped the team to a runners-up finish.

Modleski finished among the top-10 at all five tournaments played thus far in 2025-26, including a pair of fifth-place finishes at the Folds of Honor Collegiate and the Canadian Collegiate Invitational – both in September.

His lowest stroke finish of the season came at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational where he finished eight-under at 208, en route to a first-place team finish.

Modleski is one of 25 individuals named to the final watch list of the fall.
