NORTHFIELD, Ill. – The Notre Dame men’s golf team wrapped up play in the Windon Memorial Classic at Sunset Ridge Country Club as the Irish took home 11th in their third tournament of the fall. The tournament was hosted by Northwestern as the Irish competed in three rounds Sept. 25-26.
The Irish shot a collective 846 (-6) as a team and were led by Nate Stevens, who finished T14 and recorded a 207 (-6). The sophomore finished with a 69 (-2) in each round, tallying 11 birdies in the tournament.
He was followed by graduate student Palmer Jackson and senior Angelo Marcon, who each finished with a 214 (+1). Jackson’s lowest scores were in round one and two as he recorded a 70 (-1) in each round. Marcon shot his best in round one where he tallied a score of 68 (-3) and an impressive eight birdies.
