DRAWING IT UP
Jarious Jackson has carried the Irish back into the national spotlight, scoring almost every way possible in the last two Notre Dame wins.
The Irish offense has slowly developed under new offensive coordinator Kevin Rogers, and now appears headed in the right direction.
Jarious Jackson (7) is known for his ability to run the option, but he has quietly turned on the passing game, throwing six touchdowns over the last two games.
However, Jackson is most dangerous on the run. The Irish have plenty of QB draws out of the shotgun and spread formations, and Jackson’s ability to create on the run is special. Here, he takes the ball on the sprint out, but the play is cut off by the nickel blitz. Jackson is able to stop on a dime and cutback against the defenisve flow, turning a loss into a big gain.
