Irish Hockey Game At Western Michigan To Be Televised On Saturday

Notre Dame, Ind. – The Notre Dame – Western Michigan hockey game at Kalamazoo, Mich., this Saturday, Oct. 19, at Lawson Arena will be televised live by WHME-TV Channel 46 in South Bend.

The broadcast is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. in Michigan and 6:05 p.m. in Indiana. Veteran sportscaster Bob Nagle will handle the play-by-play duties with Tom Nevala providing the color commentary.

The Irish face the Broncos in a home-and-home series with Friday’s game at the Joyce Center to faceoff at 7:05 p.m.

Notre Dame comes into the weekend series with a 1-0-1 record after tying Minnesota-Duluth, 2-2 on Oct. 11 and then winning on Oct. 12 by a 5-3 score.

Western Michigan (2-0-0) also opened its season last weekend with 6-5 and 3-2 wins versus Bowling Green.
