All Monogram Club members who were either football players or football managers during their time at Notre Dame were invited back to campus this weekend for the seventh annual Blue-Gold Football Alumni Weekend. Below is the schedule of events for the weekend, though many events required participants to pre-register in order to attend.
Friday, April 21
9 a.m. – Noon: Check-in at the Monogram Club Office in the Joyce Center
1 – 5 p.m.: Check-in at the Monogram Club Office in the Joyce Center
4 p.m.: Flag football practice (football practice fields)
6 p.m.: Spring kick-off “tailgate” style dinner, sponsored by Outback Steakhouse; a chance to meet the 2006 Irish football team and coaching staff (tents at Cartier Field – casual dress)
Following dinner: Tours of Guglielmino Athletics Complex
Saturday, April 22
9:30 a.m.: Pre-game mass with Fr. Riehle – flag players only (visitor’s locker room in Notre Dame Stadium)
10 a.m.: Continental breakfast – flag players only (visitor’s locker room in Notre Dame Stadium)
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Alumni Flag Football Game in Notre Dame Stadium
12:30 p.m.: Lunch buffet (tent at north tunnel of Notre Dame Stadium)
1:35 p.m.: Blue-Gold Game
4:00 p.m. (dinner at 5:30 p.m.): “For the Love of Pete” – Pete Duranko Dinner (basketball arena of the Joyce Center)
