CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 10 University of Notre Dame women’s lacrosse team trekked down to Charlottesville, Virginia, for its third straight road matchup against Virginia at Noon ET on Saturday at Klockner Stadium.
The Irish will look to remain undefeated in Atlantic Coast Conference play as they currently possess a 2-0 record with wins over Duke and Louisville.

History vs. Virginia
Notre Dame owns a 3-1 all-time record against the Cavaliers, including a 1-0 record on the road.
The Irish have won three straight contests against Virginia. Most recently, Notre Dame defeated then-ranked No. 9 Virginia, 16-4, on March 19, 2016.
Second-Half Story
After outscoring opponents 65-24 in the second half of the first eight games, Notre Dame has been outscored 22-16 in the second half in its last three games.
Over the past five games, the Irish have won 58 draw controls in the second half, compared to 54 in the first half. The team has collected 40 second-half saves, compared to 33 in the first half.
The Irish have allowed exactly 14 goals in each of their three losses. In those games, Notre Dame tied its opponent in the second half versus Northwestern and Towson and dropped the second half 7-4 against Princeton.
