THE DUKE SERIES
• The Irish and Blue Devils will meet on the pitch for the 12th time on Friday evening.
• The Irish lead the series with a mark of 7-3-1.
• Notre Dame has played just three matches at Duke, going 1-2-0 when playing in Durham.
• The most recent matchup came last season at Notre Dame on Oct. 20, resulting in a scoreless draw in double overtime.
• Six of the last eight matchups have went to overtime.
ROAD WARRIORS
• The Irish have not dropped a point when playing away from Alumni Stadium this season, posting a record of 4-0-0.
• Notre Dame is 2-0-0 in neutral site fixtures in 2018 and 2-0-0 in true road matches.
• In the four matches the Irish have outscored the opposition by a combined margin of 11-2.
• Three of Notre Dame’s wins away from home have come in shutouts.
BENCH IMPACT
• A key to the Irish current four-match winning streak has been the spark the subs have given the Irish, particularly in the attack.

• Thomas Ueland, Jack Lynn, Aiden McFadden, Paul Rothrock and Sean MacLeod have each found the back of the net in the stretch.
• The goals from McFadden (vs. Boston College), Rothrock (at Northwestern) and MacLeod (Louisville) proved to be the match winners.

• Patrick Berneski has done the bulk of the damage, scoring five set-piece goals, four of which were headers.
• Other set-piece goals came from a sublime Felicien Dumas free kick that proved to be the game winner against Syracuse and Sean MacLeod, who converted a penalty kick in overtime against Louisville to give the Irish the win.
• Dumas has supplied the assist in five of the set-piece goals in 2018.

• Senior center back Patrick Berneski has had an impressive senior season after earning the captain armband prior to the 2018 campaign.
• Berneski has scored in five of 11 matches this season, leading the team with five goals.
• The senior’s five goals are the most scored this season by any ACC defender in 2018.
SECOND-HALF SCORING
• Of Notre Dame’s 20 goals scored, 15 have come in the second half or overtime this season.
• All three of Notre Dame’s goals in the wins at Syracuse and Northwestern came in the final 45 minutes of play.
• Just as impressive, the Irish defense has not allowed a goal in the first half in any match this season, spanning 495 minutes.
