AUSTIN, Texas — With a bid to the World University Games on his radar for July, rising Notre Dame junior Zach Yeadon continues his success in the pool this off-season. Back home in Texas, Yeadon kept up his work in the pool, making his mark at the 2019 ST TXLA 11 & Over End of School Splash as he earned a qualifying mark in the 400 free for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
Yeadon touched the wall in 3:55.12 to become the second Irish team member to qualify for the team trials in June 2020.

"It was another great moment for Zach, and one that solidified his participation at the US Olympic Trials," head coach Mike Litzinger said. "His focus right now is representing the United States at the World University Games in five weeks and then on to US Nationals."
