NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Savannah Buchanan, Mollie Carr, Samantha Giacolone, Maddie Howe, Samantha Lynch, Jessi Masinko, Erin McBride, Makenna Pearsall and Hannah Proctor were all named to the ACC Women’s Lacrosse All-Academic Team, the conference announced Thursday (June 20).
The nine honorees lead the conference and are the Irish have earned since joining the ACC in 2014.
Giacolone earns the honor for the third consecutive season, while Buchanan, Howe and Proctor earn recognition for the second straight year.
Carr is the fifth Irish freshman to be named to the ACC All-Academic Team, joining Andie Aldave (2018), Howe (2018) Alex Dalton (2014) and Cortney Fortunato (2014) as first year players to earn the accolade.
Giacolone (Second Team) and Howe (Second Team) both earned Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association honors earlier this month. Proctor was also named IWLCA First Team All West/Midwest Region while Buchanan was named Second Team All-Region.
