NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The 119th U.S. Amateur commences Monday, August 12, with three Notre Dame men’s golfers among the 312-player field. Returners Hunter Ostrom and Davis Chatfield, along with incoming freshman Palmer Jackson, will represent the Irish at Pinehurst.

The U.S. Amateur returns to Pinehurst for the third time and the first since 2008. Pinehurst No. 2 and Pinehurst No. 4 will serve as the companion courses for the 2019 National Championship.

The first two days will consist of stroke play with the field then being cut down to 64 players come the first round of match play on Wednesday.

All three Irish will tee off on course No. 4 on Monday, with Ostrom looking to set the tone first at 1:01 p.m. EST on hole No. 9. Jackson follows next on hole No. 1 at 2:03 p.m., followed by Chatfield at 2:56 p.m. on hole No. 1.
