NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Atlantic Coast Conference released its women’s basketball 2019-20 league schedule on Tuesday morning. Fans will immediately notice that the conference has moved to an 18-game slate. Thus, Notre Dame will be in a home-and-home pod with Louisville, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Syracuse.
Last season, the ACC was once again the No. 1 ranked conference in RPI. In addition, a record-tying eight league teams were selected for the 2019 NCAA Championship field – the most of any conference.
This year’s conference slate will kick off December 29, when the Irish host Clemson at home at 4 p.m. ET on RSN.
The Irish television breakdown for the ACC schedule consists of: at least seven matchups on the ACC Network, six on ACCN Extra, two on RSN and potentially up to three on ESPN/ESPN2.
The 2020 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be held March 4-8 at the Greensboro Coliseum for the 20th time in the last 21 years.
