NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Following a resounding victory in his return to the cross country course, University of Notre Dame sophomore Dylan Jacobs was named an Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Performer of the Week on Wednesday.
In his collegiate cross country debut, Dylan Jacobs led the Irish to their second straight team victory with a first-place finish at the National Catholic Invitational. A former Footlocker National Champion, Jacobs led the field by nearly 10 seconds with his winning time of 25:08.94 on the five-mile course.
The Irish will return to action next Friday when they host the Joe Piane Invitational at the Burke Golf Course.
