NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Seven Irish were named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans ahead of the 2021 season, the publication announced Monday (Feb. 1).
Notre Dame’s seven honorees, which were the most of any program in the country, include Andie Aldave (First Team), Bridget Deehan (First Team), Madison Ahern (Second Team), Emma Schettig (Second Team), Kasey Choma (Third Team), Savannah Buchanan (Honorable Mention) and Kathleen Roe (Honorable Mention).
Aldave, Deehan, Ahern, Schettig and Choma were named IL All-Americans after the shortened 2020 season. Aldave and Deehan were also tabbed U.S. Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-Americans back in December, with Deehan also named the magazine’s Preseason Goaltender of the Year.
