NOTRE DAME, In. – Announced by the conference on Tuesday (Dec. 7) afternoon, Rachel Tanczos has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Field Performer of the Week.
The Fighting Irish opened their season on Friday, December 3 with the 2021 Blue & Gold Invitational.
Tanczos took first place in the weight throw with a mark of 21.52m, and took first place in the shot put with a toss of 15.34m. She is currently ranked first nationally in the weight throw.
The Irish will return to competition after the break on January 15 at the Big Ten Invitational.
