Junior Palmer Jackson (Murrysville, PA) has been named to the Spring Haskins Award Watch List presented by Stifel, maintaining his status from the award’s release in October of 2021.
Jackson is the 15th-ranked collegiate golfer in the nation (according to Golftstat.com) with a 69.97 adjusted scoring average. A key cog in Notre Dame’s 14th-ranked lineup, Jackson has finished in the top 10 in eight of the 10 competitions he has competed in for the Irish this season. He has shot under par in an amazing 24 of 30 rounds carded in 2021-22.
The 2022 Jones Cup Invitational Champion (competing as an individual in February of 2022 before the Notre Dame spring schedule began) Jackson also claimed first place at the Stephens Cup in the fall of 2021.
Jackson also was among 30 players on the Hogan Award Watch List, which will be cut down to 10 semifinalists on April 15.
The Fighting Irish will be back in action at the 2022 Atlantic Coast Conference Championship in Panama City, Florida, which will be held at the Shark’s Tooth Golf Club on April 22-25.
