COLUMBUS, Ohio. — The postseason is upon the Notre Dame men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams, and a batch of swimmers will close out the 2022-23 campaign at the Ohio State Winter Invitational this weekend. Athletes from Ball State, Duquesne, John Carroll, Kentucky, Ohio University and Pitt will also be in attendance at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus.
Notre Dame has seen the Buckeyes twice already this year. The Irish traveled to Columbus just before Thanksgiving for the Ohio State Fall Invitational, and this weekend’s hosts were in South Bend in late January for Notre Dame’s annual Tim Welsh Classic. Ohio State won both of those meets. The Notre Dame men and women took second place at the Tim Welsh Classic. Both Buckeyes teams are currently ranked fifth in the country, per the CSCAA.
The meet will begin Friday morning and last through Sunday evening. Finals can be streamed each day on B1G+, and prelims can be streamed on Friday and Saturday.
