SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team earned the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s All-Academic Team award for their efforts in the classroom this season. Seven individuals were also recognized for their efforts. This season, 162 programs earned the All-Academic Team distinction, with 959 individuals being named ITA Scholar-Athlete. Included in those 959 honorees were Notre Dame’s Noah Becker, Jayanth Devaiah, Matthew Halpin, Braeden Ho, Evan Lee, Jean-Marc Malkowski and Addy Vashistha

To qualify for this honor as a team, the program needed to have a team grad point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.00 scale with all varsity letter winners being factored into the cumulative GPA for the current academic year. Individually, the honor went to those who earned a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.00 scale.

This is the 13th season that the Irish program has earned the ITA All-Academic team award, and the ninth consecutive season for the program to achieve the honor. Its the first Scholar-Athlete award for Devaiah and Lee, while Halpin, Ho, Malkowski and Vashistha have each earned the honor at least once in their careers.
