CHARLOTTE, NC – As announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon, the Notre Dame women’s 4000m DMR team earned ACC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honors.

The distance medley relay team of Gretchen Farley, Jordyn Borsch, Claire Sievern, and Olivia Markezich ran one of the fastest times in NCAA history at the Alex Wilson Invitational this weekend. The Fighting Irish team set both ACC and school records in the DMR with a time of 10:44.62, which also ranks as the third-fastest in NCAA history. Olivia Markezich ran the final leg with an impressive split of 4:22 in the mile.
