The University of Notre Dame rowing team’s First Varsity Four (1VF) has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week after completing a two-victory weekend at the 2024 Big Ten Invitational in Sarasota, Florida, last weekend.
The group of freshman Sara Louser, sophomore Julia Clavi, freshman Scarlett Quinn, sophomore Morgan Rice and junior coxswain Grace Collins started their weekend with a victory over Iowa, Minnesota and Oklahoma in 7:29.58 on Friday, April 19.

Later that day, the 1V4 battled No. 16 Indiana through the entire race, falling to second in a photo finish by less than a second. The crew capped the weekend on Sunday morning with their best time of the regatta (7:22.470) to finish first ahead of Alabama, UCF, Iowa and Wisconsin.
The ACC Crew of the Week is decided by the ACC athletics communications team and awarded on a weekly basis during the rowing season.
The Irish return to action this weekend in New Jersey when they face Princeton, Columbia and Northeastern on Saturday, April 27.
